A Fort Collins heating and cooling company.
Hawthorne HVAC Finishing Partners works on homes and businesses from an office on South College Avenue.
Explain it, line by line.
Most people have never been told what their equipment is: how big, how old, what refrigerant, what it needs from the electrical panel. It's all printed on the unit. We read it, and we tell you.
The same goes for quotes. A replacement quote should say what's being replaced, why, what size and why that size — and it should read the same whether you own a bungalow or an office building.
Four things we always do.
Read the plate
Size, age and refrigerant before any diagnosis.
Measure, don't guess
Readings written down on every visit.
Ask first
No repair without your approval.
Leave it clean
Drop cloths down, old parts gone.
Licensing in Colorado
Colorado has no statewide HVAC contractor licence; contractor licensing and mechanical permits are handled by cities and counties, including the City of Fort Collins. Our local licence details will be listed here and in the footer.
About the name
“Finishing Partners” is part of the name, not the trade. Hawthorne does heating, ventilation and air conditioning only — no painting, drywall or finish work.
Half of what we do
Furnaces, air conditioning, heat pumps and ductless.
The other half
Rooftop units, split systems and restaurants.
